The portal ManaBalss.lv can exist and function only because there are people who selflessly donate funds to support the portal. They don't have to be large amounts - the minimum donation amount is 0.50 EUR, and it will also be used in good faith to help good ideas reach the Saeima. Read about what has already been done here - we will also use all future donations to improve the portal and promote initiatives in the Saeima.
We have the status of a Public Benefit organization - which means that donors can receive tax benefits of up to 85% of the donation amount.
We have introduced the possibility to donate using the PayPal system - convenient and simple for those who already use this payment tool, or who want to use a bank card! PayPal has proven itself to be a reliable and convenient donation tool, and we truly appreciate every donation that comes to us this way.
These supposedly small donations from the users of the portal are very important to us - they help ensure the daily operation of the portal, solving technical problems and support for the authors of initiatives. If every user of the portal donated 5 EUR once a month (it's not a lot, isn't it?), then we could fully ensure the operation and development of the portal, and would be completely independent of funding from international funds.

If we knew that every month there is a certain number of people who donate a certain amount of money, we could plan the future and development of the portal much more precisely and sustainably. In addition, it is so simple - set the automatic payment in the Internet bank, and that's it! They don't have to be large sums, and with regular, non-endowment funding, we will be able to do much more (and more efficiently!) than we do now.
